The initial consultation process will include a review of your full health history, and diagnosis of the pulse, tongue, eyes, skin, nails and joints. This process checks for imbalances and toxins in the body.
Anji will determine your order of and your defining Dosha/s and explain the three doshas, Vata, Pitta, and Kapha in great detail. Vata regulates movement, Pitta controls metabolism and Kapha organises the structure of the body, and they all play significant parts in your wellbeing.

This consultation includes advice on significant lifestyle recommendations, dietary requirements and any prescribed herbs and massage treatments that can help to balance your vitiated doshas.

This full body, deep relaxation massage treatment uses selected herbal oils to individually suit your dosha and any imbalances that may be present.
The oil massage moves energy into your body, loosens deep-seated toxins and stimulates the body's natural ability to recover. Warm Ayurvedic herbal oils are applied to the body using specific techniques that move the toxins from your tissues into the alimentary canal where they are later expelled from the skin.
This is followed by a hot towel treatment (Swedana). This stimulates the sweat glands of the skin to release toxins. Swedana naturally assists in opening the body's circulatory channels (the srotas) and that facilitates the outflow of toxins from the tissues via the gastrointestinal tract for elimination via the excretory system.

Udvartana is an Ayurvedic treatment that uses a unique herbal paste that consists of medicated powders and oils. It is designed to provide maximum therapeutic benefit for your dosha type and any health imbalances that may be present.
The friction from the paste on the skin during the massage opens the pores, removes blockages in the blood vessels, stimulates fat metabolism and removes toxins from both the surface and deeper tissue layers of the skin.
The oil base of the paste also protects the skin from becoming superficially dry, so it remains soft and supple after the treatment. Following the paste massage, Swedana (hot towel treatment) is applied, allowing the body to heat up further to help the metabolic process, this has a cutting or liquefying effect on fat tissue.

Afer this treatment, you can expect to feel invigorated, revitalised, destressed and relaxed. The bonus is that your skin will be beautifully soft and glowing, the perfect pre-party treatment.

Based on your individual dosha type, Anji will prepare and use fresh, natural ingredients, like milk, honey, cucumber, turmeric, rice flour, fresh aloe vera, coconut oil, saffron, zinc and the ancient kumkumadi oil that balances skin, aids restoration and gives nourishment and harmony to the face, neck and décolletage.

The facials help fight the signs of ageing and provide deep relaxation and rejuvenation, the face glows and looks visibly younger, Marma points are activated on the face, and this strengthens both physical and energetic centres that enhance the process of rejuvenation and collagen production, bringing back your youth and glow.

The treatments involve intricate, massaging moves that are done in a specific order, this in combination with the pure Ayurvedic ingredients give skin back the elasticity that feeds its cells and, in turn, achieves much needed nourishment so the tissues can heal and restore.

60 Minute Kati Basti Treatment:

Kati Basti is a soothing treatment where a special dough is made and shaped into a ring, it is then moulded and placed on the area of inflammation and a large quantity of warm, medicated oil is poured in, retained then taken out, each time getting warmer and warmer. This leads to a reduction in chronic and acute pain, tension, twinges and stiffness.
This treatment is very effective in treating lower back pain, sciatica, slipped disc, neurological diseases of lower limbs, back, knees, neck, etc.

After your treatment, a warming oil massage is given to release any further tension and to wake up the skin.
